okay, playing as the english, enjoying bombing the americans to death, and using the move fighters anyway exploit (hit recon, recon over a square, hit shift-r and don't move the mouse, you can move planes anywhere [assuming you can recon there] by clicking) so after keeping it over the ocean i move it to an american city (surprisingly it works for tons of turns) i evnetually through conquest, work my way up to that city, and i start to bomb it, eventually destroying my own fighter with my own bomber

EDIT: some of you claim you can't read my post, if so click here

I love to use brackets/parentheses/commas/semicolons/slashes! (assuming that they are applicable)

I have no idea what Ybbor just said. :crazyeye:

He used an exploit that allows you to place a fighter in any square, including enemy occupied squares. He chose a city, for one reason or another and forgot about it. He then proceeded to attack and conquer the city, thus destroying his own fighter.

lol now I get it  :crazyeye:

Can ya let me in on the exploit? :mischief:

for the record i can understand my post just fine :p

this only works for planes with recon. anyway, hit recon as an air mission. move your mouse over the square you want to land on. as your mouse is over the square hit shift-r (this is the keystroke for re-baseing) without moving your mouse, hit the mouse button without moving the mouse (works best if you play on a laptop like me and have a button to click) and wha-la! your plane is now rebased on that square! continue re-basing until you get to your desired destination (just don't bomb it  :mischief: )

Summary: he used an exploit to move a fighter to an enemy city and he ended up bombing his own play when he bombed the city. ;)

Quite funny though..

thank you  but you forgot the two smileys ;)

:hmm:I could read the post just fine all along...

Anyway, I'm guilty of a few exploits myself  mostly reloading until my espionage missions go the way I want.

Yup, the post was clear to me too... Anyway, funny stuff!

I did not even know about the exploit, though... But then again, I rarely play the game until fighters and bombers come along...

3 sets of brackets + 9 commas + no puntcuation = a sentence/post I cannot understand.

When I went to school, commas and brackets were considered punctuation. That was a long time ago though, no-one even knew how to spell 'l33t' or 'd00d'. :)

what? a lot of punctuation, such as in the opening posts (the parentheses, the brackets, and the commas (but did you notice .. unlike me... he didnt include any elipses [which, if you are not sure what they are, they are three dots in a row ... like this ... <--- (which are there, by the way, to express thoughtful pauses (so as to convey emotion and keep the reader focused and happy (and a happy reader is where its at right?, and dont forget (its ok that i used a question mark in a spot that wasnt the end of a sentence, trust me), that anything in parentheses ( the conventions of formal english provide for this) can rightfully be ignored leaving the remainder of the sentence still grammatically sensable (grammatically sensible - that means even your gramma would approve)))))], (but i have to make a tangent here (sorry about this) that all those closing parentheses after the gramma joke have the side effect of looking like smilees(and this is called "literary technique")) (see i did it again (if a bit muted the second time)) and really the ellipses should be in there (but i digress), and yes yes, you will point out once i put brackets inside parentheses whereas the other times i put parentheses inside parentheses, but thats a minor forgivable isssue, (notice commas that time!)which should not detract from the beauty of the concept) makes for interesting reading with powerful communicative appeal.

so i would have to disagree.

I hope your game isn't glitched up now...
