Disclaimer: I am usually a Prince player. Never actually finished any games on King although I have dabbled in some. So choosing emperor was more of a fun idea to see how long I can survive so bear with me 
The adventures of Emperor Otto start here. In 4000BC. So there he was on this lonely pangea. Commanding his forces of warriors and a group of settlers through the grasslands. It was time for Berlin to be founded. Not far from a river delta with some sugar and elephants nearby.
After setting up the town there was scouting to be done. Unexplored terrain in all directions. Treasures to be found and maybe some civilizations to be met. Otto assembled a group of scouts and send them out to bring home the riches of the land.
Soon Otto met with Darius and his Persian people. The emperor being cautious about the new neighbor realized that Darius was afraid of the German army and maybe even the people.
But no time to rest now. The scouts send home reports of lands rich with incense waiting to be claimed. Surely settling a city so close to the Persian borders would cause repercussions. Otto was confident that it was the right thing to do and so new settlers were sent to found Hamburg.
And sure enough not long after the new citizens of Hamburg had settled Darius demanded to leave this land to the Persian people. Of course Otto would agree not to settle any more cities close to his Persian neighbors although that may not have been totally honest. If there was more land suitable for further cities to be claimed who was he to refuse his German people the right to expand.
And land there was! And riches! Diamonds and dyes only waiting to be sold to the next best trader. Only one problem. This land also was near someone's borders. Somebody new. This new neighbor was Attila. But there was land to be claimed and so the next group of settlers were sent out into the world.
The German empire was growing and barbarians from around the cities soon joined the ranks of Otto's army. The need for soldiers would come. From the conversations the emperor had with Attila he knew there was trouble on the horizon. Nevertheless the settlers reached their destination and Munich was founded.
Attila didn't like this at all. Pretending to be friendly. Nothing Otto hadn't seen before. He knew what was coming. Darius seemed rather relaxed after a few years so the German forces were sent north to Munich. And sure enough not a moment to soon.
The Huns arrived with their massive battering rams and horse archers ready to claim this still puny German city, Munich. But soon after declaring war and sending his forces into the fight Attila realized that this German emperor was not to be trifled with. The Hunnic forces tried times and times again to penetrate the defenses of this city on the hill with walls surrounding it but there was no victory to be gained here.
With their tails between their legs the remaining men of Attila's decimated army ran back home. But they were not alone. Otto's archers soon followed.
After leaving some bowmen to hold off anyone coming from Attila's court the German emperor sent his ever growing army to the new Hunnic city Altin Tepe. There is no doubt that this city will be taken in the near future. But that story is for the next chapter.
