Well civ3 is out and now civ2 will slowly fade into the mist. I will soon buy or get a copy of civ3. I have loved this game since it came out but now a worthy successor is here. You guys still plan to play civ2 now?

My answer is YES.

Firstly I will not have Civ 3 for awhile yet and Civ 2 is still good and it runs in a window so I can play it whilst on the net etc.

well I'm playing a ripped version of civ3, gonna use that until the game actually comes out in australia heh, but there's no guarantee I won't return to civ2 for a bit in the future(not that there's anything wrong with civ3 tho)

i'd say there are problems with civ3, scenarios aren't possible in its current stage of development. that's right civ3 isn't finished yet

I will play it. I am teaching a 9 and 8 year old to play and I think t will be easier for them to handle Civ II. Plus there are several things I don't like about Civ III so I think I will probably play them about equally. Also I like to bring Civ with me when I travel and most of the people I stay with have comuters too pathetic to play Civ III.
