The Ancient Mediterranean

Add one or two naval techs along the path. Historically, the second weakest ship (caravel) didn't appear for millenia after the trireme. Maybe add another ship in between them?

Greek Fire - a volatile chemical mix that ignited on contact with air. Not good to have your boat attacked by another carrying this stuff... (Fire ship?)

Add another horsemanship tech - stirrups or some such as a prereq for building knights.

Well, I like your scenario very much, thamis! But: Is there any possibility to have all of the eleven civs on the map at the same time? I tried to change the maximum civilization numbers for all the world sizes, but nothing happend.

Hi!

Here's a little "teaser" for the next version of the Ancient Mediterranean Mod - the map!

I think I will let the map contain more resources:

Strategic:
Copper
Tin (Copper + Tin -> Bronze...)

Luxus:
Fruit
Papyrus
Wool

Bonus:
Oasis
Clay

I'm working on it! Thank you for some good ideas - the greek fire will be a great thing in the game... :D

Suggestions welcome!
