Yea that would be great :D If I'm not mistaken the Zulu Ibuntho Clubman made by Sepamu92 uses a new club. I could be wrong though, I haven't downloaded it yet to take a closer look.

Damn old friend, you've developed into a great unit-maker! The skins are beautiful, and they all look so good. Congratulations!

Woot-Woot!!! The chariot with the heavy horsies. This is a very cool idea, Aranor. And the work is also very cool:)

 :p Dont thank me for the idea. They actually existed in the Vedic empire. Wyz supplied me with several pictures of Vedic chariots and all of them had heavy horses. If my memory serves me the Persians also heavily armored their chariot horses, or maybe it was the Seleucids I'm not sure.

Thanks :goodjob: However my skills are not just in units. You should take a look at the civ's I'm churning out too.:D I will have an Australian civ released on the 25th (ANZAC day here, the most important day of the year as far as I'm concerned.) Then on the Galatians and Batavii, and then finally possibly the Parthians or maybe Papua New Guinea ( I haven't decided on which, probably both, but I'm not sure of the order). So my work wont be done for some time. Once I'm done with that list I might come back and do some Roman units as WW2commander suggested.

Wow, these units look great! I think the Ancient Warrior would work nicely as an early medieval swordsman.

Yep he could, although personally I think he would look better skinned with chain mail if he was to go medieval. The light leather scale armor just looks out of place otherwise.

I've seen your new civs, but I feel it takes a lot more skill to create new units than it does to create new civs. Good job any way you look at it :)

I agree making the units for my civs and civ gold is a time consuming process. However I have found that for me to make my civs to the standard where I am happy with them it takes alot more time and effort to create a civ than it does to create a unit. Usually I have an idea of what I'm going to do before I begin making the unit so if all goes well I can turn out a new unit in a couple of hours. A new civ however takes a week of work plus testing before its ready to be released. Anyway I'm glad everyone like them :goodjob: I cant wait to see where they begin to turn up!

They attack with shields !

yup, they are the Sami rune drummers from CivGold 4, they will be explorer replacements so Wyz tells me. So the shields are supposed to look like the drum. They come pretty close to the picture I got from Wyz. the only problem is in the combat and fortify animations the "drum cuts the model in half. Otherwise they look pretty cool ingame!:D And if you thing they are good, just wait till you see the rest of them, in all it will be my biggest single release to date. About 3 units from CivGold plus 4 from my own civs. 2 of them from one ;) however only one will make it into the final release. Overall I am very proud of this batch they are going to be amazing!:goodjob:
