The best CIV III civ is.....

I like the americans because of the workers go faster, so then you can have more commerce which means faster building of units and wonders. The expansionst part is good in the begeninig because you get about 4 techs off the goody huts and u meet other civs faster and you can conquer their capital in the begining because of the poorly defended cities. If u can survive until the industrious and modern era then u r gonna win for sure.

I think Indians deserves some respect...War Elephants...WOoooohoo...Middle Age Tanks...
Cultural ASSIMILATION rocks...I once took over another city across a river just by building a temple and a cathedral...THAT, coupled with the Oracle and THe Sistine Chapel...can u say? Culture Shock???

Besides...I just love to rush for Monarchy early in the game... the 3 food per irrigated grasslands = FAST GROWTH...while I buy other techs from other Civs...Usually I get the pyramids if i'm lucky..then I go a defender then rush for temple....With that..I will have cultural advantage over any nearby cities...ahahha


My second Fave is Greeks...Science and Commerce bonus is a very powerful thing...but Techs aren't so hard to get with trade...so I guess being scientific is not really great...IMO the best one would be Religious and Commerce...Use culture to take over cities and money to buy techs...hahaha

I am split.

I LOOOOVE the bonuses from the Religous Civs! Love it! I like getting the free civ2 Statue of Liberty for free at the beginning of the game.

I am torn between the Japanese. Samurais kick! 4/4/2 Mobile armor. The Military Bonus is good too. You can many GLs from your invading horde of Samurai! "Cheezburga!, Cheezburga, Cheezburga!"<--Belushi rules!

I also think the Egyptians are cool just for the Industrious trait. It is just awesome to watch your slave labor cut down that jungle superfast. The War Chariot is just not that great.

I have played the aztecs, babylonians, french, greeks, iroquios and romans so far, and I have had the most success with the french - comemrcial & industrious - faster workers, more shields & commerce and lower corruption - the empire is just solid.

I DO, however, HATE their flourescent pink colours!

I personally like the Japanese (and im not even asian!). Religious is great so i can switch governments and Militaristic is a must if you plan to have any military superiority. Maybe the best part is Samurai! easily the strongest unit in the early game, these things kick all others butt, and plus later on they can be upgraded to calvary.

I don't know about German and French, but from Russian I recognize only word "da".

I have been played only for Russia. I should switch to other country only in case of Firaxis add Empire Customization, and to create my own Country (e.g. Siberia).
