Aeldrik: I'll have a look at yours too, but judging from the screens, Phoenix' scenario seems big enough to me. We shall see.

ThaLastKnight - This has the same solution as CivII - it includes the exact same 2 American cities in the same place. The problem with creating a fully blown US is that it would mean reducing the detail of the current map as it is at the maximum size. I have given the US the ability to create most units in a single turn though vastly accelerated production.
Glad to hear that. Sounds like your scenario has it all!

Can't wait to see it. Ah yes, please get that C3C Version going as soon as you can ;).

I had to download all the units necessary units manually as I own Civ III Conquests, and was given the message I need the Pediaicons text for the scenario with all the necessary units. Could somebody please send me one?

 i extracted scenario’s main file to “CivIII\PTW\Scenarios”,
i did the Civilopedia and the PediaIcons thing but when i try to run the scenario it gets stuck at configuring senario for ages and then the whole program doesn't respond anymore. am i forgetting anything?

BodaFlack - It can take quite a while depending on the speed of your machine. On my computer it takes between 40-75 mins usualy (I realise thats a big difference) but I have done it in 30 mins before.

From previous modding I have done in the past I learned that it is the number of cities that contributes the most to slowing down Civ. Though the theoretical maximum is 512 in Conquests, from what I can tell, going over 256 or so has a pretty significant effect. I know it's great to have such accuracy in the map as this scenario does, but for my own patience, I have modded it some to take out cities that saw very limited action/had very limited effect, and it does seem to speed it up a fair amount.

I don't know why it is taking some people so long to load this map. I timed it and found that it loads from selection at 5min 20secs each and every time.

I do not have a 'fast' machine. The relevant spec that can influence this is...

AMD XP1800 overclocked to 11.5x200 with fast memory timings of 6-2-2-2. 512mb Ram.

Still I suppose it makes the purchase of my XP1800 JIHUB CPU even more special at around 40 UK Pounds.

Morgan UK - well my machine does it quite quickly sometimes (about 10mins) but not most of the time. I think it depends on how long your computer has been turned on, etc. Plus getting interupts doesn't help - that realy annoys me! :(

ok thank you, I've found what you meant on the first page as you have said, but the link appears to be broken. The Explorer says that the page cannot be displayed.

Meow - It is working fine for me - perhaps it was just a server error - try it again. You are trying to download from the link just above the PTW scenario download link aren't you?

you going to make a conquests version? If you are id make the countries individual states rather than having the nuetral nations or the massive clump that is greece.

Sarevok - I am going to make a conquests version. I don't know what version you are playing but in the current version Greece and Yugoslavia are seperate (have been for a while) and the Neutrals consists of only Sweden and Iceland.

You got Conquests yet, Phoenix?
