The C-Word

I kind of agree with the original post as I had the same thought. I does seem kind of odd that a unit can earn a promotion and save it for a rainy day, when, 200 years later, it can suddenly use that promotion for whatever that day demands. Not only that, but get healed by it hundreds of years after earning it.

My question is, does the AI use promotions this way too? If the AI "cheeses" promotions the same way then I don't think it's a big dea - what's fair for the AI is fair for me. If, however, the AI doesn't save promotions and "strategically" use them for healing then I definitely think it's cheese.

Thanks Zhahz,

So would anyone care to enlighten me on why this feature was adopted and advocated?

Further would anyone with more experience in warmongering comment on how/if the AI uses this feature?

It does seem like an exploit to me in SP, if the aI does not hoard the promotions to use at the right time too.

I can see human players really taking advantage of this. This would not be an exploit in MP though.

(Divorce this from the healing part - I'll stipulate for argumants sake that the aI uses that partially - does not save up but heals right away, so it is not an exploit. Let's talk about one thing at a time.)

It doesn t seem to be an exploit as one of the (in-game) tip tells you explicitely to not use them right away as they heal =/
