The DemoGame RPG

This is the thread to help organize the future demogame rpg. We have to decide what idea's we are to use how were going to do them. All input is encouraged.

We know for sure were going to need a bank. We need to start deciding how we can have one that's is easy to run and can give the citizens fast information on their bank account.

Here's an idea for the bank: We could have maybe a small website for it all. Have a password given out to each user that user can then use the password to buy stuff or to access their bank account.
Do we have any body who is good with HTML and can make a few page's to do this?

There's a demogame webpage thread in the main forum. I'm also making a writeup of the site layout. Then, I'm making the basic webpage layout.
BTW, don't write anything about the page here... 'Poly might be watching... ;-)

Question: how long can a game run after it has been won? the pc stops keeping score, but how long can u actually keep on playing? I've never done that, it'll be a shame to have to stop an rpg game just 'cos the pc doesn't want us to keep having fun!

I think the central bank should be in Asphinxia. We have the Forbidden Palace that has some perfect offices and I would be willing to donate S.A.a.M.'s bank manager's salay out of Asphinxian funds (let it never be said that we are stingy to our devoted citizens). Also, if anyone has shown themselves to be adept at creating RPG atmosphere and writing with passion & flare, Ehecatl Atzin has to be up there, another of those Asphinxia is proud to call thier own!!

we need a curency. gold is for international, but we should have something for national bills. i mean, what average citizen barters w/ forigen ppl?

Based on the Phoenatican Spice Standard (after all, the gold standard has been beaten to death):

Basic currency unit: phoenar
10 phoenemes to the phoenar
10 phoentz to the phoeneme

anyway, that's my 2 phoentz' worth....

some things people could need money for:
1) Housing
2) Food
3) Transportation
4) Furniture

For Food and Furniture one could just have them put into four classes. Class A food is well the best food in the nation. Class D food is well the worst. Otherwise it would be too complex.

I'll say this again to make sure others know. New citizens could start out in metropolises and stay under gov. care in any metropolis, if needed.

Eyrei came with a good idea of how the citizens make money. And last time I checked yesturday their was 6 people who voulanteered to help.. I think we can handle have a 1)Real Estate Agent 2) Grocery Manger 3) Car Dealer 4) Sales Person.

Stuck... Possibly more... Maybe 5GPT and add on for leader poistions and if they run a non-govermen department. IE: Citizen Registry, Citizen Honors.

I agree. The President should have more than your average citizen. I think is makes sense.

have you lot read the idea thread it already has the set values for which each person gets i know strider has but stuck_as_a_mac if your going to be main banker you need to know these things and since pretty much everybody who wants to join has at least read some of that thread you cant go changing it without first posting in there to see if everyone likes it

i no certain ppl get more $ The base salary is 2gpt Every1 gets that. Thing shouldnt b expensive. Ppl will start out w. alot, but then if they dun do nething, they wont make much. Multiple jobs mean more money
