Has anyone else noticed that the leader of the Khmer can be quite evil and aggressive? He's always so angry at me haha. I screamed ''Damn you Arch Rival! Why must you always Thwart my plans on worldly domination''.

I really dislike him, kinda reminds me of Montezuma, but I normally crush him before he becomes a problem xDDD.

A lot of people dislike him on sight. His appearance seems to inspire hatred. He is also a somewhat dangerous and untrustworthy AI. He plans war at pleased and can be hard to get along with. Not as bad as Monty, but he's no Mansa Musa or Gandhi. He's a good one to get out of the way when you plan worldly domination.

I could only describe him as a tough stain that one, fails to remove from their clothing after repeated attempts of wash. One day I shall bring an army so large, and be sure to crush him, leave no cities unburned and unravaged! Hear me now for I am the one! >:0 xD

In most of the games I've played with him, he was weak and teched slowly, although I have noticed he doesn't get along well with other leaders.

The Khmer civilization is one that always ends up being my most dangerous rival. Even in mods, the Khmer are the most dangerous and immediate threat.

They seem to expand fast, build up a decent military force, and tech decently. Just his looks inspires thoughts of cliche movie villains.

Ugh...

Agree to his demands, or the -2 modifier (not -1) will take effect every time you do not meet his demands.

I don't really encounter a problem with him. In my games he is usually hated by all his neighbors and ends up in a war with all of them, becoming a vassal.

Sury expands fast, and also makes lots of demands, and if you refuse, you get a -2 modifier, instead of just a -1. He's both a strong and an annoying AI opponent.

He also holds a 30 unitprob and is one of the game's true zealots.

It's possible to get him liking you early via organized religion + his state religion (which by themselves push him to friendly or close after a while, but with fair trade quite rapidly). This partners him with the likes of izzy/zara/justinian/etc in that he is a good religious ally who can usually find other targets if you're in his SR and don't refuse demands that are stupid to refuse.

But as a creative AI with good strategy flavors he's one of the stronger AIs.

Never had trouble with him, cause I'm usually stuck with Shakalaka/Monty as a neighbor :(. Though I will say that he should stop sniffing everything...his nose is creepy.

I think about everytime he comes on-screen, I get angry in some form or manner! Evil, I especially hate it when he spreads his religion ultra-fast and I'm like what then ker-pow, I have no choice but to give into his gangsta crew of religious thugs! Haha.

You know, he either loves me... or hates me and attacks in the BC period! I am not a big fan. I like to conquer him early, you can usually roll over him without too much effort and often end up with a holy city thanks to him! If left unchecked he can become quite a problem!
