The First Punic War

This is the thread for my Punic War Scenario.
Please post comments and ideas.
I will post updates on the progress.

First, does anyone has a map of the Mediterrean that shows the what's mountains, deserts, etc. or have a map that they have already made of this region.

You can use the Third punic wars scenario map - and use Maputility to modify if that doesn't satisfy you enough.

If you'll need infos about websites form Italian web, I'm at your service.

Isn't the standard Mediterranean map good enough?

If you need any help, just ask me, I once had a plan for an early Roman scenario, but never began work... It's postponed indefinitely now, so just ask!...

The standard map for the region is all grasslands. This is why I am not using it. Any help would be good. Ideas for special units for each side and many any good unit designs for ancient units.

Also, an update. I have determined with civs will be in (w/ the civ used to as them).

Roman Empire (Roman)
Carthagian Empire (Carthage)
Dacians (German)
Egypt (Egyptians)
Aetolian League (Babylonians)
Syria (Persians)

So it will includ all of the former Macedonian kingdoms and Dacia, the major Germanic tribe of the periond, in addition to Carthage-Rome.

Replace Dacians with illirians. More close to rome, and pesky annoying pirates - same as Aetolians.

I meant the edited version of the standard map, the one used in the Rome.scn... It has terrain features
