Earth Day I say!!
gives 1 happy face to EVERY city in the world
reduces pollution ALL OVER the world
gives 1 happy face to your cities. (1 + 1= 2)

why benefit the AI? well because we all live in the same planet, Earth Day could be the 1ST holyday to be celebrated by EVERY ONE, in fact Earth Day already exists it is in ??/27 it think it is 3/27, ask your science teacher

Earth Day is April 22. I shouldn't know this, since I don't celebrate it.

personally, I would just like to see more techs added to the modern age, and have the game time extended to 2100, and have techs, and unit associated with no more then about 50 years down the road- ya know thing like a heavey infantry resurgence, as well as light infantry for marine, and paradrop operations, some near future armored units, ya know, the next generation tanks and such

Yep. We just need modern age extended methinks so that we get a use out of the modern age units before we go for victory.

maybe a new droid unit. Artifical unit.

EASY TO BUILD AND JUST AS GOOD AS A HUMAN

or a battle-mech ------> Slow, but powerfull

or an hovertank -----> same as modern tank but can walk over coast squars

why a droid, there is no need to give machines any intelligence, ever

"battle-mech" would be nothing except big, slow, EASY targets for airpower in real, reducing the military viability, to just about 0 (sorry bout pissey again....)

hovertanks are interesting though, could solve alot of problems with simply removing the ground althogeter except for the most ragged terrain

puglover great ideas

xen coling will become illegal but all of his other ideas are great

P.S. puglover what is the patrolman?

Cool ideas guys, i have one of my own to add. how about a "killer satalites" small wonder, a aray of orbeting satalites that have EXTREMLY high powerd lasers that could say kill a stack of units but would take quite a few turns to charge up?

Ha!! Crackers! Just imagine an army of rednecks marching on Paris!! :rotfl:

I'd like the ability to build cities underwater, but only on costal terrain.

those are a bit TOO futeristic for just 2200 why-

-Cloning of humans will be made illegal, there is no way around- after all ALL THREE major religions Judaism, Islam, and Christianity(and most other aswell) all agree on this single issue- it's immoral

-I dont expect lasers (blasters) to work well in atmosperes ever, space yes, but civ3 dosnt include space

-"mechs" are inefficent, all they are a nice big, slow ground targets

-

People thought graphics like those in the upcoming Doom 3 were not to be seen till 2006 or later, now there here... in 200 years the andvances of science would be so great that we don't know what to expect.

-Clonong will be illegal now, because it's immoral. but there are people that think that it is moral "if god didn't want us to do it, why can we do it then, why didn't he made the human body un-clonebale". I have nothing against cloning i even like the idea.

-Lasers?? don't know a thing about them. but there will be a way to shoot the from a normal gun

- Why do they have to be slow. if robot or mechs keep developing as fast as they do now they will be faster then a normal car or an heavy thank.

Did you know that some guys in australia acctually teleported a laser(cocentreded light) 3 feet away? Nothing great, but something!
I don't want to talk about religous beleifs, but wasn't Eve made up from one od Addam's rib by god?, does that mean that god himself clone somebody?

what about having space wars?? U could change screen to a "space look" where there would be tiles and evrything just in space... It would work like dungeon levels in fantasy games... that would be so awsome... to bad it chanse of coming in the game is about zero... well, its an idea :)

Sure a Normal Car or tank now but what about in 200 years. Something that walks will almost always be slower and more inefficiant than some thing of similar size that is wheeled.

If by a "Mech" you mean the popular rpg image of a two-legged battle robot stuffed with all kinds of weapons then you won't see them in the future. No matter how your technology advances.

The only reason to build mechs is because they look "cool".

The real world military won't build them because whatever the mech is capable of doing a weapon platform chassis can do better, because quite obviously whatever you can mount on a mech you can also mount on a platform.

A vertical standing mech is a bigger target and more unstable than a horizontal platform. Usually you can even mount more stuff on a platform. Also if you need a battle machine capable of going to places where a tracked vehicle can't then the obvious solution is to fly. In Afganistan you use choppers.

If for some reason flying is out and you really want a land battle vehicle on a rugged terrain then you don't build a vertical mech. What you want is a horizontal mech. E.g. a battle vehicle that moves somewhat like a cockroach. (BTW: that's even a real world thing. There are experimental very small explorer robos that mimick cockroaches in their moving and who mount a video camera.)

IMO the only thing dumber than a military building battle mechs is a military building Imperial AT-ATs especially when even a farmboy can afford an anti-grav device... :)

However, this doesn't mean you won't see battle robots in the future fields. They just won't be two-legged. Instead you probably will have tanks, fighters, ships, and all kind of vehicles but steered with a computer AI instead of a human.

Besides there already is one: The Predator
