the "game will end in five turns" clause

Why does this happen as I am getting close to a victory and whammo game ends in five turns and I am stuck with another domination victory....what am i doing wrong and how can I prevent this from happening so I can continue the game to my completion not the AI's....

Win earlier! Don't wait until 2100 to win. I don't like to pick on noobs, but there's no reason to wait until the game is about to end to try to get a victory. Go for whatever type of victory you're trying to get earlier instead of waiting so long.

well actually if you do that you will end up stuck with another domination victory as well

Yea, change that to "I will crunch the bones of -most- of my enemies. =;-)
