GCF is holding nominations for the GCF democracy game!
If you have played a democracy game before (like the one that has been reincarnated 5 times on CivFanatics) you should be familiar with the concept.
Otherwise, here is a brief description of what goes on:
Normally, Civ3 is played as a single player game. There are some variants as to how to play the game, and one of them is people coming together to form a team. The team then collectively decides what orders are given, where to settle, who to go to war with, research plans, etc. The main difference is that what you normally would choose alone, is chosen as a team - hence the name democracy game
We are holding a nomination process to get candidates for the following exciting branches of our government:
-President - responsible for playing the game
Domestic Affairs Leader - responsible for build queues, research path and settlement planning and infrastructure
Foreign Affairs Leader - deals with trades, holds intelligence info on our friends and enemies
Military Leader - plans war, gives orders for military production and placement of troops
Council of Control - judicial branch of the government - ensures that the game is played fairly,and that officials do what the people expect from them

Once we can get our website back up, we will be moving onto a fast, new, IPB 2.0, along with readding the stock market, online civilopedia, demogame, epics, and a plethera of other features! The complete transfer and website redesign should be done by at the latest the end of January (unless something goes terribly wrong).
