That list looks pretty arbitrary.

Looking at the list, it is clear that it's about favorite actor, rather than best one

Will Smith and Jane Fonda make it ahead of Henry Fonda.

As for ones own preferences, Elijah Wood, Max von Sydow, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford and Christopher Lee from the 'adult' list.

I think you will find that if you produced a list of your favourite movie stars people will be just as critical as you are about this one. Anyway the list is just a bit of fun and an easy way to fill six hours of programming. And notice it says "movie stars" not actors.
