The coastal cities of St. Philippe and Acupé are the third and second largest communities, respectively. St. Philippe is also connected to what thus far is Camadis' only commercial port, capable of servicing ocean-going freighters in limited quantity.

Population: 60% Urban/Suburban, 40% Rural

Military Power

Nerkatyan armed forces are few in number, but highly specialized. Military researchers have been experimenting with robot soldiers, but such developments are in the infantile stages. In the meantime, the Nerkatyan military favors quality over quantity. Expect some unorthodox tactics when facing any branch

Branches:
NKT Army All basic land forces of Nerkatya. If Nerkatya does anything in the line of ordinary fighting, it will probably be with the Army. Despite this, the NKT Army is prepared for nearly all combat situations.

NKT Navy All naval forces of Nerkatya. Mostly carrier- and submarine-based, but several heavy-hitting warships are commisioned.

NKT Strike Forces Advanced land army of Nerkatya. Highly trained in special forces combat and close-range fighting. Some divisions are also specialzed in Anphibious warfare and Vetical Envelopment.

NKT Air Force All Nerkatyan aerial combat untis, with the exception of carrier-based craft. Specializes in aerial superiority missions and infantry support. Pilots are highly trained in some of the besy air force academies in the world.

Knights of Resiak Highly confidential branch of the Resiak military. Beleived to be a highly elite stealth and infiltration unit. Existance is denied by the Nerkatyan leadership.

His Highness Gabriel the Righteous would like to extend his hand in friendship to the rest of the world. The nation of Nerkatya is open to trading agreements and alliances at this time.

The Government of Svalstan

They are currently led by Emperor Arhus Morganson, however, Prime Minister Defacto Johnson is the one with the most power in the government. The rest of the government can sometimes agree on things. The political parties include the Svalstan Union Party (in power), the Democratic-Republican party, the Libertarian Party and the Environmentalism is too Damn low party.

(The Prime Minister)

The Emperor has 4 possible heirs.

1: Prince Ryston: A silent yet deadly man who rarely needs to leave with security. Often seen with a AK-47 from Tropico.
2: Prince Gustav: A nerdy computer guy who rarely leaves the royal mansion and is often seen posting sarcastic replies on internet forums.
3: Princess Freydis: The single daughter of the Emperor, also the closest of the children to the people. Is often somewhere outside of the Royal Mansion.
4: Prince Nuyak: The adopted son of Emperor Morganson, he is also the youngest and most often meets with foreign officials.

Gabriel the Righteous accepts the trade alliance between Nerkatya and Rane.

Gabriel the Righteous would also like to welcome the esteemed Emperor Morganson. Prince Nuyak is welcome to meet with Prince Tybalt and the Foreign Affairs Council as well.

A little more information about the Nation of Nerkatya.

Spoiler :
Social Issues:

Most of the population of Nerkatya is religiously conservative. Recently, more secular movements have been taking shape, mostly over the issue of Cybers, or humans with synthetic or mechanical parts. A select few are perturbed at the growing influence of robotic technology, starting with the introduction of synthetic factory workers and more recently with the growing number of Cybers. Most Cybers are soldiers and laborers, who want to become more physically adept, physically handicapped people with replacement limbs, or highly religious people who become Cybers to profess their faith. Humans outnumber Cybers at a 15:1 ratio, but the number of Cybers has grown nearly 2000% since the first introduction of robotic prosthetics (The growth rate among the religious leadership is nearly four times that much.). Some hate crimes have been documented, but the relationships between Humans and Cybers is mostly amicable.

Government Structure:

Government Notables

Prince Tybalt: Elder son of Gabriel the Righteous. Works with the foreign affairs branch and serves as an ambassador. Strong and level-headed.

Prince Alden: Second eldest son of Gabriel the Righteous. Recently relinquished his title to the throne in favor of joining the military. Currently serving as a Captain in the Strike Forces.

Princess Melody: Only daughter of Gabriel the Righteous. Prefers to live a quiet life. Often seen working with religious leadership.

Eagle General Jonathan H. Delbrook: Current Eagle General of the NKT Armed Forces. A self-made man who rose through the ranks and was appointed Eagle General at the request of the previous Eagle General. Profane, hot-headed, and an absolutely brilliant military leader.

General Tyler Heron: General of the NKT Army. Shares a rivalry with Delbrook in army circles. Silver-spoon general, sophisticated and somewhat snooty. He's also a glory-seeker, and doesn't work well with others.

Speaker Hayrick: Religious leader of the church of Resiak and chairman of the Religious Council. Outspoken advocate of peace and conservative religious leader.

High Councilor Fiona Blaze: Head of the Nerkatyan Council. Established a reputation as a negotiator, willing to make compromises to forward an agenda. Shares the distinction of being the first Cyber High Councilor. Her left arm and shoulder are made of synthetic parts, having lost her arm in a gruesome car accident.

I refuse to let this die.

Well what are we supposed to do?

Try to take over the Ocean!

Settlement of Surel has grown somewhat.

Thadoux is a small riverside town north of the capital, founded to begin a dedicated and hopefully lucrative lumber industry. Its early operations have been profitable, and many residents have a higher GDP-per-capita than the rest of the nation. Cotenord is a small, isolated village on the opposite side of the mountains that against all common sense subsists through small-scale local farming and coastal family fisheries, neither of which are easy nor particularly productive, given the surrounding landscape.

Relations will not be good between Surel and Nerkatya if they refuse to add evidence of the existance of their nation to their cartography charts.

Gabriel the Righteous has decreed that the Nation of Nerkatya will not stand to have other nations denying the existance of Nerkatya.

In other news, Fiona Blaze signed into law the Free Steel Act, which released several government-owned steel plants to privitized buisiness. The move is expected to increase production of steel in the Nation once the factories are put under control of the private sector.

Elsewhere, Admiral Ericson, head of the NKT Navy, has tragicly passed away at the age of 83. As the nation mourns the loss of the noble hero, Eagle General Delbrook is overseeing the appointment of a new head of the Naval Division. Delbrook witheld comment on the possible candidates for the new NKT head.

Speaker Hayrick also sent a personal message to the Watabacastia head of state, requesting access to the Isle of Life by Redcrosses (doctors) to study the Island's healing properties.
