I know i've started a similar thread before, but know that it is finally on the verge of completion, I can't seem to find the original thread.

I have here the readme, and the scenario itself will hopefully be posted by the end of the day.

They require only one resource compared to the two resources normal cannons need. (requires Saltpeter and Iron)

Might want to rewrite that.

NOTE: Remember that you have only 100 turns to prepare for the Tugar. If you spend too much on fancy things like Ironclads, you will find yourself overrun and beaten very badly as ships do you no good against the swarms of Tugar you will have coming at you.

How did you manage to set it up to where they won't come for 100 turns?

This scenario though, while it seems simple, looks like it will be much fun to play when you put it up.

It was hard work, spent a lot of time expirimenting. I had to make mountains impassable to the Tugar unit. They will be traveling slowly through a maze of mountains and forest to get to your cities. Basically the whole point is to give a time limit on building and then fighting against a superior foe. I've only done it once out of about 40 times. I garentee that if you manage to beat the Tugar, the Diety AI on a normal game will seem like child's play.

I am at school now and will post the scenario once i get back.

i just ran into a major roadblock. I lost the file while rebooting my computer. God knows what other files for my other scenarios for other games were lost. It will be a simple job to fix this one back into shape from an older file of the map i made before placing units. First I need to recover my Warcraft and Starcraft scenarios then I will put it back up. I should have it up in a couple of days. I will try to fix up the readme tonight though to provide y'all with a better look at the changes. Sorry

Pity about the computer.

This scenario sounds excellent I hope you can fix it.

I realize i'm pickin up a seemingly dead subject (judging by the dates) but is there any chance this is going to be revived any time soon this would be a good scen...esp if there was some way to put the rest of the series into it....

i am still in the VERY long process of recovering this, as my computer is VERY slow. It takes a minuite for 1 additional tile to show up on the editor. It will be a couple months before it's up :( .

Nope!

OUCH!! that is bad....

What speed is your computer and how far away are you from being finished now? I haven't read the readme (I'm lazy) so could you please give a brief synopsis of what the scenario is?

Believe it or not, this is finallynearing completion. It should (finally) be up for good in 2 weeks.

I dont feel like explaining it (i'm lazy) so just read the readme doesnt take to long.

is this scenario dead and buried or is it in no man's land?

Seems dead, unfortunately.

Your post is the first in about three months after all.

I don't get it: what is this scenario?

It was based on a book, I haven't seen the book but basically the plot was that a civilwar regiment got sucked into another world filled with people from various times and places on Earth being ruled by aliens who used the humans as slaves/food.

The download includes only a word file :hmm:

It's just the readme, the scenario was meant to be ready in "two weeks" but that was said early in June
