Hello all fellow The Matrix junkies! Just downloaded the first part of Second Renaissance, a short anime film explaining the fall of humanity to the machines. I'd attach it to my post, but it'd be huge, and im sure its probably against some copywrite law since i dont have permission, so i'll post a link to it here

What did you think of it? Did it help you understand how the machines took over? Will you download the second half when it comes out in May?

Watch it a few days ago. It was nice, but it do raise some quastions. Why would they let the machines have a city left? And why would they build a lot of humanoid workers?

But I guess you should not ask quastions like that and just acsept it.

And if I do, I realy like it. Cool I say.

Yeah I saw this a few weeks ago. And though I do hate anime, I enjoyed the story and found it to be entertaining.

I dunno, that's a good question, and, of all places, why the middle east? I guess they made the workers so that the humans wouldnt have to do any work, and could just sit around and be lazy.

Can someone post a summary or sypnosis? This looks interesting, but I've a slow connection, so...

It shows how the humans have created robots and machines to do their slave labor...then a robot kills its human master because they want it to destroy it...the robot replies "I didn't want to die." Anyway the machines and human liberals begin to fight for robot rights and soon they settle in the middle east and build their own nations...after awile their economy begins to out produce the other nations and the humans begin to impose embargos on the nation...that's pretty much it for now there will be 3 more to come.
