just curious, how do you get a studio to work well? i've tried it and i fail pretty badly, even losing to other studios that just started up

1) Make your own movies ASAP.
2) Don't hire too many/few stars.
3) Don't worry if you're outpaced by the opposition at first.
(That said, I was never too god at the game myself

when your actors/directors aren't working on films have them train or exercise etc to improve them.
you don't need every set.
when it becomes available surgery helps alot
make sure your stars are wearing fasionable clothes
more impressive trailers improve stars popularity to
give them entourage
focus on only 2 or 3 types of films for each group of stars
when your stars reach 30 start some new ones while you ride out the others popularity
keep your studio looking good

meh not much replay value for casuals but you can get really into it making everything about the movie then putting it on thier website.
