The "muli" save cheat

Hi folks. I'm fed up of all the other nations turning there backs on me so i've turned to cheating so i can getcheap thrills. Anyway i was informed that if i save my game as "multi" and load it up, i "could cheat to my hearts content". So ive dne that, but nothing is different, absolutely nothing. What do i do fter ive loaded the game?

General discussions should do the trick. Far more peole frequent there than here. Don't get me wrong, I don't actually care that you posted this in three different forums. I am just very bored at work right now.

I've never used it but i thought that it was multi, with a t.

It worked for me!

I saved a game, then exited, and renamed the savegame so that it included multi. Then restarted civ, and loaded the game

It'll show you the entire map, and all resources including the ones you're not supposed to see yet. I've heard that you could change other civs production as well, though I haven't tried that.

Really kills the game though. No more exploring, no more races for resources and luxuries.

I usually save the game normally and than save it with "multi" at the beginning just so I can see what the map looks like (if I use it at all). I then re-load the normal save game. I did play a game with it on once. Turn "Show enemy/friend moves" OFF. Otherwise it's a biatch that takes forever for one turn to get done with.
