ummmmm.... well the thing is.....no..... I havent done any more real work on it, the NRI land mass has been trashed 2 times, but I'm drawing a preplane for it now, and I like the way its coming out, so mabey, by the end of the day

For centuries Plattia (or Old Plattia) was a strict Theocracy but by the 15th century many Plattians had claimed to have outgrown their religon. These "heretics" were met with swift oppression, for almost 100 years any signs of decent had been swiftly snuffed out. By 1512 AD a league of "heretics" met in secret location in Salt Lake (Old Salt Lake) to discuss a plan of action. The Heaven's Guardians (Plattia's secret police) had been on their tail for years, and the heretics knew they couldn't avoid the oppressive goverenment forever. This is when the heretics decided upon an exodus. Houndreds of Plattians left their homeland for a new world. There was recently discovered unihabitated Islands off the coast of the Civfanatica Continent. The refugees landed on these Islands and founded Plattapolis. Here they built a new thriving city. There were many resources on the Islands that could be traded for great profit. Plattaplois slowly grew and it's citizens built a thriving secular republic. During the 16th century Plattia continued it's opression of heretics. Some lucky heretics were able to flee to Plattapolis before being discovered. This helped Plattapolis grow immensly. Due to the continous flow of refugees other cities were founded on the Islands, New Salt Lake and Platt Falls now were thriving cities as well and many other smaller cities were continually being founded.
By 1667 AD Plattia was thrown into civil war the heretics had been mounting support and were demanding equal treatment. The war was long and bloody the new cities like Plattapolis and Platt Falls donated many resources and men to the Heretic's cause but it was to no avail by 1679 AD the rebellion had been brutully crushed, and thus followed a mass immigration into the New Plattian Isles. It was a shock for the Islands; acres of lush forest were devasted, trade routes were disturbed and those who had been living on the Islands were upset at the new arrivals. At this point each City in the New Plattian Isles had been run independently but now with many more cities suddenly on the Isles this quickly turned into chaos. City wars insued over trade routes and resources. A new form of goverenment was needed and Elizabeth Andrews Minister of Sandy was the first to call for unification. Platt Falls and New Salt Lake quickly followed Sandy's lead. More cities gathered to unify but many other clung to independence, the strogest of which was Plattapolis. Plattapolis was the Islands richest and largest city, for unification to happen Minister Elizabeth Andrews knew that they needed Plattapolis. Andrews gathered an army of men and marched on Plattapolis. Plattapolis was not prepared for war and the city was captured swiftly. The message had been communicated to the rest of the cities "Unification was going to happen like it or not". The council for unification met in Midvale and The Republic of New Plattia was born in 1693.
With Plattapolis as it's capitol New Plattia continued to grow and thrive. They enjoyed many years of peace being isolated from the continent. During these years refugees and political prisoners continued to flee from Old Plattia to New Plattia. This created tensions and by 1908 AD Old Plattia demanded the return of certain political refugees, New Plattia refused and war was declared. Old Plattia was a much larger nation who had proved itself in war. New Plattia was a young small nation that had never fought a war outside it's own borders. But New Plattia was wealthy and innovative and so was born the Ogden Warship. It was a supreme vessel, and overwhelmed Old Plattia's war ships in the sea. After only 2 years of sea battles Old Plattia's navy was almost wiped off the oceans of the world. New Plattia blockaded Old Plattia's harbors and 3 years later Old Plattia surrendered. It was a major victory for New Plattia. Through peace negotiations New Plattia greatly expanded it's trade influence. New Plattia entered a Golden Age enjoying great Trade and led the world in technological innovation for the first half of the 20th century.
Today New Plattia is still a wealthy country and a scientific nexus. It no longer leads the world in wealth or science but it still has world wide influence. Old Plattia secularised in the early part of the20th century due mostle to the peace agreement with New Plattia, and today the two nations are closer then could have ever been thought. They enjoy free trade with each other and are each others most loyal allies.

I 've been busy latelly (all unaviodable, as me and some friends are busy trying to milk out the last few drops of sumer fun...) and familly buisness will soon be taking me away from my home for about a week, all this,combined with a few other things, leads me to belive that the scen should be done by early-mid august

Um... It looks like Zatinland is no longer with us. They seem to have ceased to exist in NationStates. This gonna affect the map?

Zatiland will be striped, the penalty for falling behing as such, if they choose to re-join they are welcome,and even to the same area, if it has not been taken, soon I'll start working on the map again, but for the next few days, I need to recover from my...ordeal....

I am very, very sorry, but school has just started for me you see... and i dont have as much free time between school and friends...
