The power of the keshik.

i played genghis khan and found their UU was excellent.i had them by 1000bc and was able to take out as many civs as possible until i was expanding to quickly.i had a new game were i done the same but i razed alot of cities.seems like a good UU.anyone think the same ?

Pretty much the best UU in the game. Has haven severel games were i couqoured 2-3 enemy civs before they become obsolete

I like playing with them...even if your game is not total domination, they are excellent for getting rid of tiresome AI cities as you try to get your civilization to a decent size.... Getting them early enough can be a bit of a challenge for me if I'm trying to build wonders as well.

I notice though that if the Mongols are an opposing civ they seem to be "pathetic" the way they deploy their keshiks....

Oh...and another excellent "revenge" unit is the Ottoman Janissary unit....a bit of a challenge to get to that technology quickly, but once you do they will sort out nearby problems very quickly...

The Keshik is by far my favorite Unique Unit. When I am not using them to attack another civilization, I like to attack city-states (1 or 2 per city-state) to build up the experience. Getting march and logistics makes them just as lethal after upgrading.

yup, one of my favorite UU in vanilla.

get them up at turn 85ish or so using snaz's strategy, and just pwn everyone with them
