Hail everyone!
It was 1954 in a Civ3 Vanilla world. I was just beginning the first of the five technologies needed to begin work on my Space Craft. Life was good as my military kept the enemies in disarray. Having been drawn into war more than I cared I chose Communism as my government. Then it happened, I achieved a Domination Victory. Sigh.
My victory was bittersweet. I was hoping for a Space Race victory. Considering the year (1954) and the number of techs needed (5) I was running out of time. I've read that 2050 is the last year before the computer determines a victor based on points. I really pushed hard but can't imagine having sufficient time to complete the techs and produce the items need within the deadline. I also cant believe after all my hard work the computer rated me as Foolish (how sad).
