Does anyone else think that the G&K quotes are less... I dunno, profound than the vanilla ones? For example, the Leaning Tower of Pisa one about not clapping too hard. It just seems like the quotes are all a bit dumber. Maybe it's my imagination.
Morgan Sheppard has an American accent, whilst Ian McKellan has a British accent. These are very distinct for a native English speaker, which is probably why most other people hadn't seen the resemblance. They both do have that old-wise-man timbre, though, which is kinda necessary for their respective roles (i.e. the father in the Civ5 intro, and Gandalf). So it's a fair enough question if you're not too familiar with the accents.
