The whole worlds against me, any tips

The game has progressed nicely. Already won with a UN vote when I built it in 2043. Just finished wiping off one nation that was still in the middle ages off the map, and now. Now I've gone and pissed the rest of the world off. I just said f*** it, and shot ICBM at five capital cities. I've already gotten the return fire. I've lost my cities on three land masses, and only have them left on two others. Learned the hard way the planes suck royally. Now though, I want my revenge, the AI is in the process of throwing what they've got at me, and it doesn't look pretty. My three cities on one continent are going to be taken, that's almost certain. On another, it might do fine for a long while, but I think I might be pushed back in a couple of decades. The tech tree is finished, taxes are high, and cities are going into constant disorder. I'm planning on upping the luxury rate 30% and leaving the science at 10%. SDI has blocked ten out of thirteen missles, which has been a great asset. I own one continent, but one city has been annihalated already by ICBMs. I don't think they can really get close, I haven't seen many Civs with many ships so my home continent seems fine ('Cept for those pesky ICBMs).

Here's what I'd like to know. How do I fight my way to the top. I want to get my revenge, but I'm not all to sure how to go about it. Ravage them with my own ICBMs (Which I've used up, but building more shouldn't be much of a problem), or load up my transports with my masses force of Mechanized Infantry (Longevity kept making my cities go into the red, so I thought, hey why not.). Then there's always the suggestion you guys can come up with, I'd love to hear them if you have any. Oh yeah, tech stuff. PTW v1.14 (or the latest patch.). Can't wait to get a reply.

Post Script: I don't like to send files out of the computer, but if having the game might help, I'd like to know.

Here is something that I did once. Worked out well for me....

The answer is BOTH: get your ICBM and have some transports loaded with fast units (Modern Tanks). Then when you have the transports close, Nuc the cities, move in your armor and destroy, do not take the cities. This should effectively remove a civ fairly fast. Do one civ at a time.

One, I'm not starting a new game, that would just suck. Two, it's the year 2106, built the UN, and won the game a long time ago. Three, I want to have some fun with the AI, it's cheiftan so I have a slight advantage. Razing sounds like a good idea at this point. Time to have some fun, and thanks for the tip. Oh yeah, that reminds me, also got a small stock pile of tactical nukes, and nuclear subs. Those should come in handy.

If you don't want to start a new game, or play fair, then download a cheat. PowerBar is a good one that is in the downloads section (works with 1.29f and PTW)

If the whole world is against you...pray, even if you've won the game already. Shootin off ICBMs is the worse thing you can do. No other civ will do it until you do, unless the AI civ really hates you. Improving your rep after a nuclear war will take a very long time

No, I won't cheat, but it's already too late. It was horrible. Utter choas until the bitter bloody end. So, what is a world leader to do. Start at the point right before the war, MPP everyone and piss someone off. Worked like a charm. Just went looking at a few of the cities of the Zulus. What cities, global warmind should be coming soon, but oh well, a fair price to pay for having the world rally behind me. Thanks anyway for the help. With the cities I'll be collecting, I should have the power to fight the world again in a few hundred years.
