What the hell is a fast worker? How is a 3 move worker unique to india?

Are they fast at taking your jobs? All i can think of is that its a joke on indians taking american jobs that are being outsourced.

Post other things you think of here.

Another one is countries being furious with you for a war you started 2000 years ago.

Indeed. They should either give some sort of religious bonus or a granary in every city like in Civ II. The Internet doesn't make much sense either because by the time you are able to build it there isn't many techs you don't have and you usually need a tech lead to get it done first.

Check out the Al Gore challenge on the stories and tales baord:

37 techs from the internet. While it was an awesome write up and interesting to read through, it also shows why the internet wonder really is worthless.

that archers have the range as tanks

And fast workers can out run tanks. Researching engineering enables bridge building but they must fall from the sky for the roads already built.

Lol!! Fast Indians???
Seriuosly this makes little sense,
But it can make funny jokes!! :D

Well... the United States cavalry is what its modeled on and yes, they did have trumpets on hand.

Dont you know that beat in civ2 when you use dragoons or cavalry to attack?

Duh duh dun duh duhduhdudhdaaa!

A longbowmen shooting an arrow at my modern armor and seeing it blow up!

In a bizarre way, that actually makes sense. By the time organized cavalry came about, armies would communicate with trumpets, drums and flutes. Otherwise the generals would yell themselves hoarse!

I don't understand why a Spearmen killing a Tank is such a big phenomenon, it only has 100% against Mounted and I think Tanks are not even mounted

needing AH to see horses, only the blind cant see 2,5 m long, 1,5 high and 400 kg heavy animal.

I used to be really bothered by the "spearmen beats tank" phenomenon until I realized that those early tanks were vulnerable to infantry popping their hatches. And now I assume that spearmen (or any non-mech unit) are lucky enough to pull that tactic off.

Now, spearmen beating modern armor is a different story...should be literally impossible.

How cavemen with clubs can be alive and well to fight on a future battleplain. And if you give him enough money, he can turn into a completely modern soldiere.
