This game looks like....

A mess. It looks like a sloppy mess. I can't help but think they are trying to make Civilization more 'chic' then it's meant to be by using this new layout and design. The engine looks fantastic with Pirates, but they shouldn't use Civ4 as an excuse to get more use out of it.

Maybe if they shrunk those damn units down to a somwhat-more proportioned size it would look alot better.

I think the graphics are beautiful, especially when your zoomed in close

I like the graphics, but in some of the screenshots it does seem very cluttered.

I too like the graphics. In fact I love them! I just love them in Pirates, or RTS'. I don't love them in Civilization as it is.

Wait and look and drink tea in the meantime! It's difficult to judge things like this ('messy') from a standing screenshot, taken probably in a special angle to get a good picture and zoomed in to some way. And to this, we don't know what version the screenshots are we are shown, they could be elder. And it's still time for them to change it a lil bit.

I know this answer is lame and stops the discussion in a bad way, cause we can always argue (and should). But in this case, I really do not want to waste my time, cause we simply have too few infos at this point of time imho.
