This is fun. Modern Armor vs. Spearman

Speaking of unguarded artillery....
Once my stack was captured, but I destroyed the opponent before recapturing the artillery and I lost all of them. That's stupid.

I was playing in a game aganist the Greeks, and they sent their powerful tanks and each of them were destroyed by Riflemen, Spearmen, and Pikemen.

I once attacked a regular spearman fortified in a hills town with a veteran tank, and lost with the spearman losing 1 HP.

My 4 MA army was once redlined by a spearman.

Note about Longbowmen: They're awesome. That four attack gives them a 1/3 chance against Tanks. I use them very frequently to kill tanks and even Modern Armour.

Think about it in real life.
In a city with buildings and people, your in tanks, like a car with guns. Spearmen are hiding, behind & in buildings, in caves, underground, blah blah blah. They run up behind your tank, and totally stab you! And mess with the tank. Tanks don't have the entire human touch that a Spearman, archer, or any other troop has.
As for bragging, I lost my infantry to a horseman... but that's the worse I can think of.

In Civ V, it is possible to defeat any unit in one turn by surrounding it with archers, artillery, cities or what have you. Anything with a ranged attack ought to be able to kill any unit in the game so long as 10 are in range at any given time. Even a GDR can be defeated in a single turn by six scouts and four archers.
