Thought the TERRA MAP had all City States on the other continent ?

Hi all,

Playing a Terra Map for the first time. Deity, large. Playing Tamar cause she's one of the last leaders I haven't won a game with ;-)

So here I am exploring and I find Cardif and Akkad on the same landmass than I started on ? Did I misunderstand what the map was all about ? I'm pretty sure I've been reading that all CS where supposed to be across the ocean on the other landmass, no ?

IS this something that has changed through a fix recently ?

I think it's that the New World has only city states and no major civs, not that they're all over there.

I play about 20 terra starts a week at the moment. I would say over half have 1-2 on the 'home' continent. The game I am playing currently has all off home but palenque is just off shore. The game this morning had 2 science CS on the home continent.

I think of the 6 terra games I've played, 5 of them had all the CS's on the new world, which means that 1 didn't. So I don't think it's a bug, just rare

got ANOTHER CS on my mainland... so that's 3 !!! can't wait to see how many on the other side.

Not finishing games, just playing to T100. We all play differently.
Having the game on IOS has also increased play

so that's 3 !!!

I cannot remember 3 but there was 1 game where it just seemed totally messed up like 50:50, then I realised I had chosen continents, you sure it’s terra?
