Tile Bug?

hello . Im new on the forum. I have had civ 5 for about 2 weeks now. love it btw. Anyway, ive gotten use to the game very quickly and can beast prince difficulty very easily. Ive played civ revolution on the ipod which is unbelievably easy even on diety. Anyway...

for some reason, when i play, sinlge player or multiplayer, it shows on the building resources on all tiles! you know when you click a city, it shows the green circles for food and the hammers for production and the yello ones for coins. But it shows when im not on a city. whats going on? how can i stop this?

There's a small icon to the left of the minimap that toggles map view options. One of them should be "show tile yields." Make sure it's off!

No, do NOT use the control by the minimap to toggle 'Yields' display. ...

Just press the 'Y' key.
