Tile-set changing per turn or set of turns

For user scenarios, have the ability to flip between two or more tileset every so turns. So have a summer tileset and winter tileset, or have a day tileset and night tileset,. Then have different rules in effect for each tilesets, so during the winter movement takes longer, and during night theres decreased vision range. This way scenarios that take place over the course of a long war can have both summer and winter, and short war both night and day.
 
Yes, good idea.

Actually I really thought it would be implemented in PTW since they provided European terrain + winter terrain. Wishful but nothing more. In Conquests ?
 
But this is Civ3, not SimCity. :D

Do you really want to make the artists work overtime? It could be a Civ4 suggestion, though.

Not much work for the artists since the job has already been done. So it is actually a waste not to use what already exists. So some work, yes, but for the coding guys.
