Tile Sharing

I believe allies should be allowed to share tiles. By this I mean if I need to go south on my allies road, I should not have to get off the road, and then back on, just becuase he has a worker irrigating it or something. If I am allied with some one we should be able to have both of our people on the same space. This would really help with coordinated attacks. Additionally it would allow you to stop your people off in their city to rest up in the barracks or protect it from enemies while they build more troops.
I wasn't so sure about this idea a few days before but recently, when I was playing Civ3, I encountered the "allied units blocking the roads/rails problem" - it was horrible - LOL - I had to make "explorer units" to block off roads/rails that I needed to pass through, but then, this created a big problem for my ally too. Now, they couldn't pass through the roads/rails hehe. My ally and myself were under attack by the evil Babylonians (they were the major world power in that game :p) It was hilarious. I was using artilleries to bombard the invading forces (transporting via rails), then using tanks to finish them off. When I've ran out of troops, my ally would finish off the remaining bombarded enemies hehe. It was the greatest alliance I've ever seen in a Civilization game. Sadly, I lost the game hehe, due to arial bombardments - LOL - It was fun none-the-less (minus the ally units blocking the roads/rails problem)

The point is, allied forces should be able to "give way", so to speak. I'm still not sure if units should be able to share tiles though. I was thinking, maybe units could pass through allied units but not end their movement on the same tile. Of course, this would only be invoked with the "Right of Passage" agreement, even when moving passed allies outside their borders. Any other agreements (including Peace Treaties) would disable "passing through units".
