To kill a spy

I don't know if someone has asked this already, but with the new espionage you can only have three spies, right? Now what happens if a coup fails and your spy gets executed? Do you get a new rookie spy or is that it?

You probably get a new one, but man if my spy get executed imma bring the PAIN on whoever killed them.

You actually can get more than 3 spies.

1 for Renassiance
1 for Industrial
1 for Modern
1 for Atomic
1 for Information
1 for Future
1 for National Intelligence agency
1 if England

And if one dies, it gets replaced by a rookie.

YOu do but you have to wait awhile and you get a recruit so if you lost a 3 chevron it hurts. don't know how long because I haven't lost a spy using them defensively.
