First of.....Hellou everybody.....it has been awhile.....
Anyway I updated my very old SVN versio to the latest, and at end of the update I got on 'check sum error'. The file in question was 'units_sparth.FPK'. Now I have tried the 'cleanup' tortoise command, and at first I got on error about locked files, when I tried unlock them tortoise told me there are no locked files......okay. Then I actually selected all the files in C2CSVN folder........actually I can go on and on what steps I have tried/taken, but the matter of a fact is I am unable to update 'units_sparth.FPK' file.

Another thing.....don't know if they are related but.....I started a new scenario an a large earth map(no presets) as german civilization(hitler), and for some reason my stone thrower unit is a red ball(unit you get at start)(model missing?). Anyway few rounds in and I "pump" into israel stone thrower and he DOES have a model etc.

So do I need download the whole "SVN folder" again, or is there away to fix these error.

Try deleting the file then running another update command on the mod repository folder. See what happens then.
I already tried that and the result was the same check sum error. I tried by simply selecting the file and hitting shift+del, and also tried using the tortoise menus delete command.

I'm not sure why you're getting a check sum error. But it sounds like something that would be related to caching. Delete the cache folder from the main BtS folder and you might be alright from there.

Ah, wait... you are updating from a very old SVN? Perhaps the next step is to do a fresh checkout into a whole new repository folder. A while back the repository directory had to get moved and the old one can only be updated so far which is quite a ways back in revision terms. If you're trying to update a really old SVN folder, you'd be running up against a wall and unable to get to the latest revisions.

But if you're showing 5 digits on the Rev# count then you're probably past that and just deleting the bts cache folder is about all that I think you'd need to do. Maybe.

I redownloaded all the SVN files and that fixed all the issues I was having.
