Track moves

Has anyone ever used the Track ... moves function in civ2?
I tried it, but don't really understand what it does, so if anyone know of any good ways to use it I'd like to know

If you haven't found it, right-click on the small map and you'll get a new map window with the title track enemy moves. There is also a new button where you can switch the title to track all and friendly moves.

I've used those windows in MP to monitor certain areas but I don't think I've used them to full potential.I use the static window.

You can open up as many as you want.They can be stacked up in a corner for quick cycling thru.
