If anyone is interested in this story it is an atrocity almost equal to the death camps of Nazi Germany.
Trail of Tears
The article is an historical account of things that happened to the Cherokee due to European encroachment in thier homeland.

Then is tells a lot about Cherokee culture and how that was changed be European influence.

Finally, it gives the Cherokee Creatrion Myth: thier "Adam & Eve" story.

I hope you find this article as fascinating as I did. I learned a lot from reading it.

I don't think there's anything bad in preaching the Indian way. They're the ones that have been abused anyway...

I would give you links to other threads i have posted on but why bother if you havn't bothered to read them in the first place SunTzu. Just like you obviously didn't bother to click on the link here and read the material. Whatever. Your loss.

Thank you Az for showing interest in what happened to the native americans. As you can see there would be a lot more native americans around to teach us thier culture if they hadn't been almost entired killed by the European settlers.

I only hope that now all is not lost and that people give a **** about these magnificent native americans even if most of them were killed.
