Wich are the possibilities to get tribute from indians?
I think if you go with a dragoon, you have more posibilities to receive it.
And after you received a tribute, can you be sure that you could receive another one from the same indians?

I don't think tribute as such from Indians is important. It is more important and profitable to send a scout into a new Indian village. Often your scout will be made a seasoned scout if it is not one and if it already one, then there's a chance to get a gift of money or else have the surrounding unexplored land revealed to you, By repeating this process in other new villages (not the visited ones) you will get a significant amount.

Also with the land revealed, the rumors will also show. This is where big treasures can be had. Just wait for the right Founding Father to join you before you send in a seasoned scout to get a good chance of getting money, treasure and the Fountain of Youth.

well, i already know this, but after you visited all the villages they dont serv for nothing. And besides, if you demand a tribute and then make them happy, it will be a good strategy.

If you want to make them happy, trading with them is the best way. For a faraway colony, remaining small in size also makes them happy and will be rewarded with gifts of their main commodities.

Pocahontas is also essential in my Indian-friendly style of game.

That's truth, but altough you can't trade everything with them, for exemple silver, which is a prime material and coats, which is badly valorized by them.

If you a large enough navy particularly galleons and have John Paul Jones IIRC, then you can trade with most of the coastal villages of all the Indian tribes including the higher ones like Aztecs and Incas. Iroquois are also profitable to trade with.
