Triggering a golden age- No of Great People needed

Question ? what is the number of Great People needed and types.

A recent game, I triggered a golden age early?? don't know why, proberly just had a couple spare and thought why not...

Went for a space race win, was Playing a phillosiphical leader, had Great people...coming out my ears on MARATHON, ended up with 9 extra.

Triggered a 2nd golden age, used up 3 great people, ALL different types, 4th, it said it needed 4 of different types...I had 6 Science, 2 Great merchants , Engineer *fussion*, but wouldn't trigger a golden age???

So do you need 4 for next age, 5 , then 6, etc..if so.....Your limited to golden ages...

Vanilla version, with some chocolate sprinkles of Better A.I. version, latest build.

Is this a bug, or actual feature of game, 6 Scientist, and can't trigger a golden age, what's going on.

Oh, Lighbulbing only took 4 turns MAX OFF RESEARCH...I was far and away a tech leader....just playing for interest.

You get a free golden age with building the Taj mahal.

You can trigger a golden age from the gold circle after clicking on the great person.

First golden age (or second if you popped the Taj) costs you 2 different great people.

second golden age (or third if you popped Taj) costs three difference great people.

Third golden age (or fourth if you pop the Taj) costs 4 different great peopl.

Fourth Golden age (or fifth if you popped Taj) costs one of each great person (1 prophet, 1 scientist, 1 merchant, 1 engineer, 1 artist.

After that I do not know.

2 great scientists will NOT allow you to trigger a great age.

Caution, do not go into anarchy after triggering a golden age unless you are a spiritual leader.
