I heard that it is possible to get advanced barbarian troops from goody huts. Is this true? I only remember getting basic barbarians...

You mean conscript warriors? AFAIK you don't get any better even in the modern age.

I vaguely recall in vanilla CivIII that I got some conscript horsemen from goody huts. It happened once or twice and I've never seen it since. However, I now have C3C so maybe it's been changed since then.

I got a conscript horseman once. Once, in two-plus years of playing. I don't even remember when it was, but I think it was when I was playing a PTW game.

so did I

I once and only ONCE, in also 2+ years of playing the Civ3 series got a conscirpt horseman

atleast I think it was only once

anyways it was in Civ3 and during my first and only game as the Americans, of course I'm not 100% sure on that

I have experienced the same as the posts above.

If you mean really advanced barbarian units, that can be done with the editor.

I have never gotten conscript horsemen. Only warriors.

I have gotten conscript horseman once or twice in C3C. The one time I remember most distinctly. I didn't have horses yet so that conscript horseman was my only fast unit for the longest time.

I got a conscript horseman a couple of times.
