Trouble insatlling patches.

I own the game and everything works fine. However, when I try to get the 1.61 patch, It gets all the way to preparing the installer and then I get this error message.

"The setup has detected that no version of Sid Meier's Civilization 4 is installed. This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed."

Any help?

Uninstall the game, reinstall, repatch.
