Trouble installing mods

I just found this site and was excited about making my civ game more expansive. So I downloaded 2 mods. They downloaded fine, but how do I get them installed? I assume they need to be installed through steam, but I have not figured out how. Could this be because I am using a Mac?

I understand there is a mod for the Celts. I could not find it on this site. PCGamer directs me to a site, but there is no download option. What's the deal?

Also, can anyone tell me how to find the multiplayer games? When I go to the multiplayer section all I get is a blank page.

Finally, why did they take out the Hotseat? I can't play multiplayer with my kids.

Could this be because I am using a Mac?

As far as i know...yes, that's the "problem". Everything regarding modding hasn't been implemented yet in the Mac version .
(i'm assuming here that you run the Mac version, and not Civ via Wine or on a Windows partition via Bootcamp, etc.)

I am using a Mac for Civ 5 does anyone know when Mods will be available for it? I have tried to use Song of Ice and Fire and 100 years war and can't install either of them, can only unzip and put them in the folder.

We have at the moment no idea .
Aspyr is not even on the same stage for patching, so it will probably take some time .
