Trouble modding great people to the game

I'm trying to add great writers that were previously cut from the game before launch and they don't function properly at all, they appear as warriors without the ability to produce a great work and their names are bugged, I'm new to modding and don't know what the exact problem is, some advice would be appreciated, thank you.
