trouble trading for sushi?

Is anyone else having trouble trading for corp resources? I just founded Sushi and i've been trying to accumulate seafood for the past 100 turns or so in preparation for that, but nobody would trade them to me, even long before I had the corp.

This is particularly annoying since my best buddy Saladin of the Mongols (unrestricted leaders obviously) won't give me a single one of his 7 fish.

The save is attached, if anyone has any idea why this would be like this, please enlighten me.

PS. feel free to critique my game, give pointers, etc. I'm gearing up for a war with Bismark.

they'll only trade you duplicates after you have the corp. no sense in trying to be prepared, you were thinking too far ahead! they should be willing to now that you founded it, unless you already spread it to them too? i didn't open the save.

Yeah, what the poster above me said - the AI refuses to trade away resources if they are useless to you at the time - I suspect this has to do with preventing some exploits of the AI.

I found that out myself five minutes after i posted though. The AI started practically throwing fish at me

Sushi and Mining inc are working quite nicely now.
