True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse series

HBO recently released the series True Blood which is based off the Sookie Stackhouse series by the author Charlaine Harris. The books are great, but the HBO series isn't very good. One, they've put a lot more sex into the series, which the author shies away from it. Sam (the bartender) doesn't act the same as he does in the books and they've modified Tara's character as well. I'll keep watching the series, but so far it isn't very good. For those of you who are watching it, I highly suggest you read the books.

Moonlight was better while True Blood just kind of sucks. Why the hell are there so many vampire tv shows these days anyway?

Wife loves True Blood. But she'd prefer moonlight.

Tell her the book series is so much better then the tv series. Basically, all three episodes are part of the first book. My wife was the one who introduced me to the series and she also finds the HBO series to be lacking.
