In elementry school, we had these old Macs, and I'm trying to identify what it is. Did extensive googling, but didn't really find anything.
I remember that the monitors were kind of rounded, and the reset button was in the back, because when it froze up we had to get a teacher to reach it. I also remember that the deskop was two "tabs" with square buttons for icons -- one tab was the programs (I remember SimTown*, Widget's Workshop, and ClarisWorks), and the other would be the saved files. When you moused-over a button, the computer would text-to-speech the file/program name.
I also remember a menu at the top of the desktop, it was plain white and black, and I think there were three buttons (can't remember). And that was the only way I remember you could eject a CD, through the menu. And there was a little apple on the right side of the menu thingy.
Also, the close/minimize/maximize/restore looked sort of like in Windows 3.1.
Any help, anyone? I tried to remember as many details as possible, if I see a screenshot/picture I'll know exactly.
One more thing: I entered school in 1997, if you want a timeframe.
Thank you.
*I have SimTown on a CD, but I don't see any system requirements on the case, and the booklet is missing.
