Did you guys not get into a religion fight with Ethiopia?
He kept converting my cities. First, since his religion also had faith buildings, I thought great I will get the tourism anyway, but then I realized other religion buildings don't bring tourism!

Did I miss anyting to prevent him from spamming me with missionaries?

Nope as I clean up my continent before astronomy. But with SS strategy you have no shortage of fault. If that is a problem getting one inquisitor prevent them to spread religion in city inquisitor in. You can move it around to protect multiply cities.
