turn 141 - 250 AD

Please send wounded AC back to East Point, and lure the Brazucans into the open, then ambush them with AC yet again. Them moving out is a sign that the upkeep is too high on their side, and they are forced to use their troops in numbers for GA.

Looks good, they are stirred and are advancing! Let them march into the open so that they can be slaughtered.

IMHO, we better build horsemen instead of pikemen anticipating upgrade to knights but only veteran (re: Borodino build).

That we attacked with their JT first made them think we got less troops in the SE of the DMZ, so hiding the Ancient Cavalry was the right thing to do we see now.

I suggest to move forward the same Elite Javelin Thrower, to be named "Mortalizer" (COMA/DP) discretion, the Veteran Javelin Thrower, to be named "Dominator" and finally the Veteran Swordsman " to the tile between Wheat and Tobacco, and wait for the Brazucan Mount Doom Army to emerge from the jungle and go to tobacco or the grasslands NE of tobacco. Also move the two horsemen in the jungle SW of the tobacco and hide the rest. This may make them think we want to balance them out, nothing much more with cheaper forces, but even parity in the open.

Follow up one tile behind with 6 Veteran Ancient Cavalry, on the tile straight south of the JTs and the Swordsman, we keep the MDIs in East Point as a secret.

We need to maximize the gains of using these half obsolete troops as bait.

Hopefully, they think we want to face them in open battle with slightly more equal troops, then we ambush them with the entire might of the 6 Veteran Ancient Cavalry, followed up by Elite JT, then Vet Sword and then Vet JT, finally wrap up the battle with 2-4 horsemen if absolutely needed.

I know they gamble for GA, but let them bleed hard for it.

The turn is played

C3B no longer lacks Feudalism. We know they have Engineering, so they are up on us now. They still lack horses and ivory. And they aren't importing luxuries nor resources from CDZ (from CGN I cannot see as we have no embassy with them).
CGN still lacks monarchy and Feud.
CDZ still lacks Monsrchy and Feud, but I don't think they'll still lack it next turn.

We get Chiv in 4 turns @ -14 gpt.

Why wasn't the Galley on the NE of the island sent into Magnopolii, so that it could surprise attack the C3B Galley next turn?

It was.
If you compare the 2 Iron Island screenies you see that on the beginnng of the turn the galeey is reg and on the end it is a vet.
The reg is now in Magnopolii.

Remember, with all of these battles one is bound to go wrong and they'll get their golden age. We'll now be facing pikes in the coming turns. But good news regarding their willingness to march out into the open. Ancient cavalry, forward!
