We recieved Education from Apolyton this turn and we got a road to the Gold Beach city, which means we now have Saltpeter. A number of cities changed from Pikemen to Musketmen.
Since I moved the Med Inf away from the southern coast, a barb camp shot up. The Med Inf is heading back to make them pay tribute to the Empire.

In my hasty departure, I forgot to mention that the Saltpeter should have stayed disconnected for now, so that we can build Pikes and upgrade them all to Muskets when the time comes.

Upgrading smaller units like Pikes and Galleys is the best use of our gold, while we save money building Riders from scratch. :)

If disconnecting is not a big problem, then you may want to consider it.
 
Reagrding the GWT stacks, there are much fewer Ansars than I anticipated. Of course, I am sure this is not everything.

Very beatable units, but we have to build up much more.
 
Something I had almost forgotten there. It's good you posted those pictures Ankka. :)

I was told by E_T that GWT got a new Great Leader, probably in 650 AD. You may see the third unit from the top on the second list is an Elite with an asteriks.

This may lead us to hold our fleet in the ocean for a turn or two while we wait for them to use their GL.

Hmm... if we wait a few turns they could be sending their forces back North > we would have great troubles up there.


True that it would be good if they had already used the GL, they couldn't for instance rebuild their FP so fast.
 
CGN's doomed; what can they do for us? I say we just put them out of their misery :rolleyes:
 
It's Poly who's giving them a city.


And the assault is not only because of CGN, it is also to give us time to get prepared to the war against GWT and GCA that will eventually happen
 
We won't go to anarchy or we already are, the gov't has been quiet while Cheetah is playing the turns. ;) :p :undecide:
 
Although Cheetah is doing a great job :goodjob: ; I would like to see elections start, especially before a war (at worst) or something of the sort happens
 
I just noticed athing that may be good to us and slow down GWT from reinforcing their Northern areas:

The city on the choke in the bottom left is GCA's, so GWT troops can't pass there. Is it so? I perhaps should check the save, but, I'm too lazy.
