The save just came in, so we have some time for discussion before play. I'll play late tonight or tomorrow morning I think.

It's 2160BC. In the research thread most support sofar is for Republic at min, so I'll do that unless it changes. Settler is on his way to refound Cruller, I propose to do that and not let this guy wander around too long. Any suggestions for names? Cruller - the saga continues?

Any opinions on the spear in Springfield? I think we should build it, we can do a 3 turn settler after that, followed by the settler factory in regular operation, from size 4-6 I think.

Any opinions on popping huts? If not, I'll keep moving the two exploring warriors generally in Northern direction. The curraghs also go to the North.

The Persian warrior moved to the hill, what do we do about him? I think we can move the warrior as in the pic below, leave the other as is. If Persia stays on the hill, fine, they can sit there for a while if they want. If they move towards the worker we can attack, and if needed cover the worker with a spear and warrior from Springfield and Shelby.

The warrior on the hill is a standard MP tactic. Its all phycological and designed for us to waste our resources trying to kill him. As long as he stays fortified there he is not going to do any damage, all it means is TNT can see what we are doing, which is nothing they probably wouldn't have already guessed. To try to take him out would be a waste of resources with anything below an attack of 2 as a minimum. All it means is we have to cover any workers/settlers in the area, and when he comes down off the hill kill him, otherwise its buisness as usual for now.

Played and sent.

Agree, and so we don't waste resources :). If he wants to stay on the hill then that is perfect.

I played as stated in the first post. It seems that I misremembered our team's opinions on research - one person wants to do republic at unspecified speed, one wants to do republic at min, and one wants to stop research altogether. I'll still switch to republic at min, as it costs only 2 gpt and preserves most options. I agree with Robi D that the way our negotiations with MIA are going we will need to switch research to Wheel very soon. I would like to have a team opinion on when we will switch if we don't get it in trade.

Compared to TNT our army is now average.

Our exploring curragh has found some furs on our side of the water:

pop the hut, don't attack the warrior, and make sure no settler is left undefended, we don't want Cruller to happen again. As for city name, how about Cruller II or TNT Sucks.
