Turn of advisor icons?

Hi,

is there any way to turn off the advisor icons on research and building in cities in Civ V? I don't like the help, it makes me feel like it's not really JUST my accomplishment in the game when I play good, hard to explain, but would like them OFF

From the in-game MENU go to OPTIONS and then set ADVISOR LEVEL to "No Advice".
